More Fun with Time!

Greetings! Happy Wednesday! Even though it was gray outside, it was a sunny day inside with lots of learning going on.

In Religion class, we talked about how Jesus will still help us today because we believe in him and have faith.

In Language Arts, we reviewed our oral vocabulary words, read r-controlled -or words and abbreviations, and read our sight words and vocabulary words. To help build our fluency and comprehension, we partner read a story from our decodable reader booklets. We also read the nonfiction story Thomas Edison, Inventor. After reading that story, we wrote about a problem Thomas had and how he solved it. We ended class by practicing using adjectives that compare in sentences.

In Math class today, we continued to practice telling time. We worked with a partner to match analog and digital times. The students really enjoyed this and continue to love telling time.

We ended our day with Stations.

Have a great night!
