Greetings! Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone's week is off to a great start.
We began our day by attending Adoration. It has been awhile since we went to Adoration. It was nice to spend some quiet time with Jesus to begin our day.
In Language Arts class, we reviewed our oral vocabulary words by answering questions using the words. We then used our letter tiles to spell and read long e words. After that, we learned about the prefixes re, un, and pre; we learned how to read words with prefixes and define them. Finally, we read our decodable reader and talked about its main idea and details in the story.
In Math class today, we took our test on the calendar and time. Tomorrow we will begin our chapter on adding and subtracting with and without regrouping.
This afternoon, in honor of Teacher Appreciation Day, the students were treated to a movie. We watched Happy Feet. It made us want to get up and dance!
