In Religion class, we wrapped up our chapter on Jesus performing miracles. We reviewed how Jesus fed 5,000 people with 5 loaves and 2 fish, how Jesus calmed the stormy sea, and how Jesus healed people both body and soul.
In Language Arts class, we answered questions using our oral vocabulary words, read r-controlled -or words, and wrote abbreviations. We also wrote sentences using our sight words, took our weekly assessment, and identified adjectives that compare in sentences. In addition to that, we partner read a story in our decodable reader booklets and read poems.
In Math class today, we practiced counting and identifying the numbers to 120. We did a write the room activity where students counted base ten blocks and wrote the number. They love walking around the room to solve problems.
We ended our day with Social Studies. Today, we learned the names of the countries that border the United States.
