Snowman Art!

Greetings! Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great day to end the first full week of 2025!

At Mass this morning, Fr. Brian reminded us of God's healing touch. He reminded us to turn to God when we need help and to pray for those who need help.

We wrapped up another week of learning in Language Arts. We used our oral vocabulary words in sentences, wrote sentences using out sight words, and took our weekly assessment. To review reading long vowel words and CVCe syllable words, we played "Stinky Foot". The students had to clean the foot by reading and erasing the words on it. They had lots of fun with this activity.

In Math class today, we worked with number patterns. Using our number chart to 40, we practiced filling in the missing numbers in a pattern.

In Science class today, we talked about how sounds are all around us. We used a string to make sounds by plucking it and watching it vibrate.

We ended our day with Art class. Today, we made a snowman looking out a window. We got to use our messy glue and paint! I'll post pictures next week once everything dries.

And, last but not least, here are pictures from last Friday's snowflake art along with the trees we painted in Social Studies class yesterday.

Have a wonderful weekend! Stay warm!
