Greetings! Happy Friday! We have made it! I don't know about you, but it has been a long week.
We began our day with Religion. Today, we reviewed things Jesus did as a young boy. We read the story of Jesus teaching in the Temple.
Our Language Arts class centered around groundhogs. We learned all about groundhogs by watching a video, reading a Scholastic News magazine, and by reading a short decodable reader. Then, we wrote facts about what we learned. We added those facts to a cute craft.
Then, we talked about Groundhog Day. We wrote our prediction about what we think Phil will see on Monday. Most think he will see his shadow. We added our predictions to a craft.
We laid all of these projects on the floor to dry. Here they all are!
In Math class, we began our chapter review of the numbers to 120 and money. We will be taking our chapter test next week.
In Science class, we learned how we can use sound to communicate.
We ended our day with Art class. Today, we glued strips of construction paper across paper and then glued an outline of a heart on top. I'll post pictures next week.
Have a good weekend!
