In Religion class today, we talked about how Joseph was the protector of Mary and Jesus.
In Language Arts class, we answered questions using our oral vocabulary words, read words with oo and u and words with inflectional endings. To build our fluency and comprehension skills, we partner read a story from our decodable reader booklets. We also read a nonfiction piece about the five food groups. Finally, we practiced writing contractions with not.
In Math class today, we started counting coins. We identified the value of a penny, nickel, and dime. The we practiced counting a group of pennies, a group of nickels, and a group of dimes.
We continued with our penguin week fun. Today, we identified different penguins and where they live. We enjoyed seeing the pictures of the different penguins.
Have a great night!
