Greetings! Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great day!
We began our day by going to Adoration. We spent some quiet time talking with Jesus.
We continued with our week of learning in Language Arts. We began by reviewing our oral vocabulary words and learning three new words (agree, difficult, and exhausted). We then worked on asking and answering questions as we read a folktale. Following that, we used our letter tiles to spell and read s-blend and r-blend words. Next, we learned about possessives and had fun creating possessive phrases. After that, we practiced using our sight words in sentences. We ended our morning focusing on comprehension. We reread Move and Grin and wrote facts we learned from the story along with its main idea and key details.
This afternoon in Language Arts, we practiced writing sentences. We also continued with our Fire Safety lessons. Today, we talked about how to feel a door with our hand, how to stay low and go, and how to stay out once we are out.
In Math class today, we used number bonds to help solve subtraction problems. We used the number bonds to write subtraction sentences two different ways.
Have a great night!
