Greetings! Happy Thursday! The excitement is building for Halloween. The students are very excited to party tomorrow!
In Religion class today, we continued learning about Abraham. Today, we focused on how God told Abraham that he would have descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky.
In Language Arts class, we practiced writing proper nouns with capital letters. We also practiced reading our sight words. In addition to that, we worked on our fluency and comprehension skills. We read and discussed Nell's Books paying attention to the characters, setting, and events.
We ended our morning with some pumpkin writing. We read Spookley, the Square Pumpkin. We talked about what made Spookley special and what makes us special. We then created our very own pumpkin and wrote about what made it special.
This afternoon we joined up with our 8th grade friends to practice for our All Saints' Day prayer service. We are very excited to pray with everyone on Monday.
Have a great night!
