Happy Wednesday! It was so nice seeing the sunshine today. The students enjoyed it both before school and at recess. They were especially excited to return to the playground for recess. They all cheered as they crossed the street to the playground!
In Religion class today, we talked about the Last Supper. We learned that Jesus shared bread and wine with his disciples the night before he died.
During Language Arts class today, we reviewed suffixes -ly and -ful, vowels in moon, and our sight words. We then read our story Henry and Mudge and Mrs. Hopper's House. This is a great story with the beloved characters Henry and Mudge. This story brought a smile to the children's faces. We ended class by writing the topic sentence to our informative paragraph about ladybugs.
Speaking of ladybugs, we have some ladybugs in our classroom. They will be with us for a few days before we release them to the wild.
In Math class today, we learned how many cups are in a pint, quart, and gallon.
During Social Studies class, we wrapped up our study of economics by reviewing all of the terms we have learned over the last several weeks.
Have a great night!
