Happy Thursday! I hope everyone was able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshine today. It was a picture perfect day.
In Religion class today, we talked about ways we worship God at Mass. We do this by praying, singing, and listening.
We read our story in Language Arts class today. But before we did that, we reviewed our phonics skills (diphthong ou and VCV words) and our sights words. The students enjoyed Mole and the Baby Bird. It is a cute story; I hope you enjoy it tonight. We ended class by writing the topic sentence in our informative paragraph on sharks.
We did enjoy the sunshine by heading outside for Gym class. It was just too nice to stay inside today.
In Math class today, we talked about fractional parts. We learned about halves, thirds, fourths, sixths, eighths, and tenths.
We ended our day with Social Studies. We talked about how goods get to market. We then illustrated how orange juice goes from tree to table.
Have a wonderful night!
