A Different Week!

Greetings! Welcome back! Well, this has been a different week. It is not every day that we have two days off in the middle of a week. But what are you going to do? I do hope everyone enjoyed the mini break. 

With the two hour delay, our day of learning was shorten a bit. This morning we practiced our penmanship and held our math meeting. 

This afternoon we worked in our literacy centers to build our fluency and comprehension skills. 

In Science class today we began our study of health and nutrition. We talked about the importance of eating healthy foods especially to keep our teeth strong. February is dental health month. 

We ended our day with Art class. Today we made a project in honor of Groundhog Day. Our little groundhog can pop out and see its shadow. Here is a picture:
