Greetings! Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a good week.
In Religion class today, we watched a short video on the Easter story. We talked about what it meant for Jesus to rise from the dead. We also talked about how Easter brings new life.
In Language Arts class, we reviewed our oral vocabulary words, read words with vowel variant /o/ and words with suffixes. We also practiced our sight words and vocabulary words. To help us build our fluency and comprehension, we partner read a story from our decodable reader booklet. We also read Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type. After reading that story, we completed pages in our close reading companion that focuses on cause and effect and theme.
This afternoon in Language Arts, we practiced using pronouns in sentences. We also talked about ways to help the Earth.
In Math class today, our focused switched to subtraction. We practiced subtracting without regrouping.
