Fun with Spiderman!

Greetings! Today was a busy day to end the week. We were all quite excited for Spiderman today, but first we had some learning to do.

At Mass this morning, Fr. Brian talked to us about how Jesus was triumphant over death.

We wrapped up another week of learning in Language Arts. We used our oral vocabulary words in sentences, read words with the vowel variant /o/ and words with suffixes -ful and -less. We also wrote sentences using our sight words and took our weekly assessment.

Because of our Spiderman show, we had Math class this morning. Today, we practiced subtracting with regrouping. The students did a great job at recognizing when to regroup.

After lunch, we took our Spelling test and had Science class. Today, in Science, we reviewed what we learned with sound, light, and heat.

After waiting all day, it was time to visit Spiderman. We had a great time playing games while Spiderman visited with us.

After our visit, we returned to the classroom for Art. Today, we painted flowers and used cupcake liners for the petals. I'll post pictures on Monday once the paint has dried.

Here are pictures from yesterday's Religion project and from our Earth Day writing.

Have a great weekend!
