Greetings! Happy Thursday! This week is going by very quickly!
In Religion class today, we continued to look at the Easter story. We created a Resurrection scene using our handprint. I will post pictures of them tomorrow.
In Language Arts class, we reviewed our oral vocabulary words, spelled and read words with the vowel variant /o/ and with the suffixes -ful and -less. After that we partner read a story in our decodable reader booklets. Then we read a nonfiction piece about people working together to make changes; following that we completed pages in our close reading companion. Finally, we practiced using pronouns in sentences.
In Math class today, we continued to practice subtracting without regrouping. I am amazed at how quickly we solve the problems.
In Social Studies class today, we talked about how goods get to market so that we can buy what we need.
We ended our day with gym. The rainy weather kept us inside where we exercised to GoNoodle videos.
