Greetings! Happy Thursday! I don't know about you but this week is flying by!
In Religion class today we learned about the Holy Family. We learned that the Holy Family is Joseph, Mary, and Jesus and that they lived in Nazareth.
In Language Arts today we reviewed our oral vocabulary words, read short o words, read our word wall, and sorted words into ABC order. After that we partner read a story in our decodable reader booklet and our story from yesterday, Friends. Following that we read a poem and completed pages in our close reading companion.
For Gym today, we headed to the Gym and played "Alligator, Alligator". The students were all smiles. They really enjoyed class today.
In Math class today we wrote addition sentences using pictures. We also used the pictures to write our own addition stories.
We ended our day with Social Studies class. Today we celebrated the life of Christopher Columbus.
Tomorrow we have Mass, Library, and Art.
