More Measurement Fun!

Greetings! Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great day!

We began our day by going to Adoration. We spent some quiet time talking to Jesus. Many of the students prayed the rosary.

We wrapped up our week of learning in Language Arts. We used our oral vocabulary words in sentences, read r-controlled -or words and abbreviations. We wrote sentences using our sight words and took our weekly assessment. We also partner read a story from our decodable reader booklets. Finally, we practiced identifying adjectives that compare in sentences.

In Math class today, we compared the length of three objects using the words tall/taller/tallest, short/shorter/shortest, and long/longer/longest. The students had fun finding things in the classroom longer than their hand and shorter than their foot.

We ended our day with Stations of the Cross. We took time to walk with Jesus.

And, congratulations tonight to the Elementary Reading Competition team. They earned a first place ribbon tonight!

Have a good night!
