Write the Room!

 Greetings! Happy Tuesday! I don't know about you but that sunshine felt good today. It was cold over the weekend! 

In Religion class today we wrapped up our second chapter on Jesus' miracles. We reviewed how Jesus helped people and how people's faith helped them. We also created a poster to remind us that Jesus is our helper. They will be coming home tomorrow. 

We wrapped up another week of learning in Language Arts. We used our oral vocabulary words in sentences and wrote sentences using our sight words. We completed a write the room activity where the students sorted r-controlled words based on the vowels. We also took our weekly assessment. Finally, we practiced using adjectives in sentences. 

In Math class, we practiced solving word problems. We are getting good at determining whether we need to add or subtract. We are working on applying our addition and subtraction strategies to solve the problems.
