Greetings! Happy Friday! Today was a great day to end another week of learning.
At Mass this morning, Fr. Brian talked to us about Mary especially the time she spent with Jesus as she watched him die on the cross.
We wrapped up another week of learning in Language Arts. We used our oral vocabulary words in sentences and wrote sentences using our sight words. We also partner read a story in our decodable reader booklets to help build our fluency.
In Math class, we practiced subtraction with regrouping. We just need to remember to subtract the tens and not add them.
In Science class, we wrapped up our unit on light. We talked about how light is used to send signals. We used our flashlights and prisms to change the direction of light and "send" signals.
We ended our day with Art class. Today, we made a mosaic shamrock using pieces of green scrapbook paper. Here they are:
